Default A good day for the S6 - Goodyear F1 GS-D3's and a full size spare

I read many good things about these tires so decides to pop for a set. So far, they seem very sticky but haven't had them in hard corners yet. I have researched various options to come up with a spare S6 OEM wheel but finally decided to pony up $400 bucks for an OEM wheel from Audi. This seemed to make more sense than a reconditioned wheel for $320. Installing the full size spare is pretty easy on the S6. You have to remove a bracket at the rear of the well and deflate the tire to get it in, its tight. I found a small 12V compressor that fits into under the tool kit and above the NAV unit. Good to go.

Make sure its a good pump as some of those can take forever to fill a tire from flat.

It's surprisingly good. I use one like it in my Rover for trailer tires and it works great.

Default Dang... I wish you'd posted before. I've got 3 S6 OEM Avus wheels in my garage sitting there.

Basically my old set before I got the RS4 reps. I used the 4th as my spare.
