mid year model change resulted in dropping hot wheel from cold package

Nope... driver's side of dash... open the door and pop off the panel at the end of the dashboard.

After a long long time

I know its been a long time, but FYI to check if you have heated steering wheel (or other features in your car), take a picture of the sticker near the spare wheel and enter all those codes here

The code for heated steering wheel is '2PR' AFAIK. At least this is the case for my 98 Audi A6
