Default Tranny fluid low? Bad valve? TCU malfunction? Parked on a slope?

After parking on a slope (typically uphill for me) I find it difficult to move the stick out of Park and when it move there is a pronounced KLONK! sound.

My tranny was replaced at about 9K miles because of a bad valve in the tranny - something about a bad batch of valves from the supplier. But the uphill parking Klonk remains.

I'm sure the dealership will be more precise.
