Default check sunroof drain too

open sunroof. pour water into the four corners of the sunroof (not into car interior!) to let it drain out of the front and rear external drains. The front drains especially like to clog up (rubber external grommet may be blocked)

Default Re: You might check the lower windshield trim

Thanks, I will check that tonight. Did the clips in someway 'close' a path that the water was taking?

I do have a trip and have managed to keep the water out of the box. This is why I want to fix it asap. I'm, driving around with my carpet pulled up and the box off the ground.

The clips keep the cowl seated properly and flush against the windshield.

Default AC drain line is clogged. Pull back the carpet in the pass foot well. You will

find it there. Do a search for ac drain, you'll find some good info.

Default 4?: debris under the shroud, obstructing rainage...water comes in via CC air intake/filter.

Also, AC drain...in the winter? Me doubts it. :P
