Uggly, hehe...most people call them the pie dish wheels, not sure of the real name.
They use to come stock on the 4.2 with 255s on them. Not sure of the width, at least 8. What a worthless post I just made...

They are called "Sweet Pie-Plates" or bauhaus or something...
They have been and still are available on all 4.2s as a separate non-sport package option. They are 17x8.5, I think, maybe 17x8...I'm not sure. I have seen them on an A4...they look excellent and really fill up the space.
Don't believe the ugly rumors about them being ugly...they are awesome.
You can get them at the dealer, but every now and then someone sells a set here...although it is less frequent as less people opt for them on incoming '02s...but they are still available!
