bah...use one of these:

we used one last week on the R32 and it worked like a champ...though I was tempted to put the whole car up on it, but it was all we had besides the emergency jack.
anyway, that's a nice jack, I'm have to consider one of dem

LOL! I know you are asking the other BD, but I actually have...
...a Torin aluminum race jack that I bought from Northern Tool a couple of years ago. I just have not tried to use the jack on the car with the new RS6 sides. I was just checking to see what others have used.

The jacking points are the same, but the RS6 sides hang down further...
so they may get pinched by some jacks. I like cL's idea of putting a hockey puck in the cup to get extra clearance. I may do that myself just to avoid scraping from metal to metal contact.

It is possible to get a rubbere insert for the plate on trolley jacks - I do not know where from....
