I was driving with some friends in my 98' a6, and the windows were down but the passenger felt warm air being emitted from somewhere.

We found that it was really warm right under the cigarette lighter, and the woodgrain right below it.

Has anyone else experienced this?

I'm pretty choked because I dropped my a6 off for diagnostics today, and when I picked it up, I realized that the tiptronic was no longer working. I thought the dealership was supposed to fix your car? I have little faith in these mechanics now.
