How do I remove the stereo?

How do I remove the stereo?
I have identified the annoying noise in my 4.2
to be coming from the stereo region.
Does anyone know how to remove the stereo in
a clean and easy way so I can look for the
little noisy source?

Look at my Picture Poster ...
Scroll to the bottom for a photo of the tools: radiotools.jpg; and also a row of back/side pics of the head unit to see how the catches work: symphony_clips.jpg

http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/users/47880.phtml

Re: Where do I get the tools? Buy'em or Make'em
You can buy them at some autosound places (as 2.7tdallas says) or at VW/Audi/Mercedes dealerships (I've seen them on eBay too)...
OR: you can do as I did and make 'em yourself! Just get some thin (not too thin!) brass or aluminum plate. Use tin snips to cut into strips about 3" long and as wide as the slots on your radio (roughly 1/4"-3/8"). Then cut the ends at an angle like the tools in the photo.
Shove them in the slots in the radio faceplate with the longest sides out (so the cut angle "pushes" the clips toward the center of the radio as you insert the strips) then wiggle the radio out by shoving your fingers in the tape slot and pulling (NOTE: I'm not responsible for you breaking your radio!)
You can go a step further and file the slots into the strips like the real tools and then bend the other ends of the strips over so you have something to grasp. Then you slide the strips in (as above) until the clips get caught in the slots you filed. Then you pull on the tools to get the head out.
