Default How good are OEM Conti's in snow...
We only get 1-2 days of the frozen stuff here so I can't justify a snow tire setup. I just want to be prepared for what I should expect out of my stock setup on my first snow day with quattro.

..in a dusting.. in 'real' snow, a 3 season tire is less than good.

Default yep, I had the contextremes on all last winter, and they were incredible.
I could romp to 60 in 6 flat in 4 inches of snow (ok, slightly exaggerated, but they are awesome)

IMO steering is affected the most. Accel./braking is ok.

Default Got them on the A6. A local tire dealer tried to talk me out of them for the S4
I am considering a 17" set up for the winter that includes those tires.
