Default Humming sound behind Bose! What is it? ~ '00 2.7T
Anyone experience this very annoying humm? It sounds like a small fan. I gave the dash board a sound rap, which stopped the noise momentarily. It then made a noise like it was powering back up.

Default Yep had it. Take it in.
Could be the same as what I had.
Remove and install control unit 4BO-820-043-K-B98 Air Ven. Worth a try.
It was a whirring sound like a fan by the radio.
Ming 2.7T is offline

It's the fan that draws and measures temperature of cabin air. I'm having mine replaced
