I don't know what it is, but ever since I fixed that dead cat, my 2.8 feels great....
I went to Boston last night to pick up my mother at the airport. on the highway, the car feels so lively, it's almost fun to drive again. I actually wonder if it hasn't been clogged/failing since I had the car, it feels that dramatically different than I ever remember it.
And I was happy to have my nice cushy non sport springs and Konis, which actually is a very nice riding combo.

Stock suspension under appreciated
Most folks don't realize how nice stock suspension can be until they go back! Went through the same on the S4, and it is much more peaceful.
And now I ride 19s all year round on the RS6. Yep...it is harsh.
