Never paid much attention to it until the post a couple of weeks ago. So I started looking at it.
On the first start of the day about 1100rpm. After warm up (oil temps 200-225 range: 700-850rpm.
Put in a can of techron on this tank and I'm down to
Start up: almost 1000rpm
Warmed up: 550-650rpm
Both of these measurements were taken after driving the same distance (one way commute 33miles) and with the outside temperature the same (69o) over several days.
So I'm going to wait until the "warm up" idle gets up there again, and then put in some more techron to see if it does make a difference.
On a side note, the car has more zip to it, something I was not expecting to have post-techron, so it a noticeable difference.
Cheers-
