the need for speed, as in autobahn bombing, check out the latest issue of Conde Nast Traveler. The one with Jay Leno on the cover leaning out of a Corvette. He and his wife take the grand high-speed tour of Germany in a Vette and he blows by all kinds of fine metal (including Audis). It seems that there's no speed limiter on his car, unlike all the locals.

Leno is a pretty funny writer and portrays himself as a good ol' boy who just likes to drive cars really fast between auto museums. Skates right up to the edge of the Ugly American stereotype.
