Info gathering:::::1995 S6 vs. 1995 A6 What are the differences?

Mainly because the S6 is mentioned.

First, I'll try to be as accurate as I can, but I'm sure I will leave some things out... but I'll try to cover major things. Other people know more about the S6 than me... I'm just a wannabe A6 owner.

As Jimmy Pribble (Urs4.com) has mentioned before, the S6 has a few items that might be found on one car and not another, like the infrared locking system instead of the remote frequency, and the sport steering wheel and avus wheels. Apparently, a lot of cars got the 'newer' items (RF system, avus wheels, sport wheel) but there are exceptions. For example, the 1995.5 changes might be found on a '95 model, or the '95 items might be found on a '95.5. Or at least that's how I understand it.

Anyway, here it is:

1995 S6 differences from A6:

Mechanical:
2.2L I5 Turbo + related parts (possibly exhaust, etc? I'm not sure.)
5-Speed Transmission (A6 had this standard, also, but the actual transmission might be different.)
Stiffer/lower suspension
Upgraded front brakes
Strut-mount support bar (across the engine bay. I'm pretty sure there is a more technical name for it... sheesh)

Physical:
Flared F&R fenders
S6 Badging
S6 wheels (16" Avus or 5-spoke) and wider tires
3-spoke sport steering wheel
Sport seats
White instrument gauges

That's what I can think of off the top of my head... I thought there was an actual list on UrS4.com, but I can't find it right now.

That the S6's I5 turbo has much more power and potential for power than the A6's 12v 2.8L V6. Essentially the S6 is the souped up sport version of the A6.
