No, there's wind noise when it is closed. There was none before the swap. I'm going to go test the bolts. I left my other shade at the shop so I'll have to swing by later to try it out. The thought did cross my mind however

Here's an updated pic of the moonroof. It's the stock solar shade from the RS6. I bolted it to the same brackets as my stock shade. It will maneuver back and forth, but not as efficiently as the stock piece with the handle. It also won't function in conjunction with the sliding roof like my stocker. But, for now, it looks better and I don't miss the sunroof - I just enjoy the Alcantara!

As far as the wind noise goes, I fixed it by manually adjusting each screw one at a time while feeling the edge of where the glass meets the roof at each corner. It has to be flush all the way around to eliminate the noise. A PITA until I figured out the easiest technique, but I got it done!
