Interesting phone scam
<ul><li><a href="http://consumerist.com/consumer/exclusives/sprint-customers-terminated-for-complaining-too-much-were-scamming-sprint-for-free-service-277026.php">amazing how you can find these folks everywhere!</a></li></ul>

It's Sprint's fault for not canning jerks like that months ago. There ARE other providers.
Sprint in my area was pretty bad reception and customer service wise. So, first chance I got, switcho!

Cingular was terrible when I moved from SoCal to NorCal. Changed to AT&T, which then
got bought. Now back to same spotty service:-( Despite some issues, I don't think I had to make more than 15 calls in the most troublesome year to get things straightened out.
But I have seen and heard of plenty scams.

My Cingular/At&T is working great around here, but so did Verizon, who I had for about
five years. My main reason to switch was based on rollover minutes, which helps a lot. Sprint is still the only one I can think of that starts evening hours at 7 though.

Since Bay Area cell phone service seems a common discussion point here, here's my latest experience.
