Interior LED lighting problem
Im having a problem with the interior LED lighting that lights up everything (heater vent controls, electric window buttons, centre console equipment etc). The problem is that it never turns off, even once the car is turned off, im outside and the car is locked, the LED lighting is still glowing inside.
I wouldnt be too bothered by this but it is a gradual drain on the battery and flattens it in around a week or two if i dont drive it. Any ideas what could be causing this?
I have noticed that the only time it does seem to go off is when opening the back doors, it sort of flickers on and off as the door settles in each of the different open positions.
Its really puzzling me and could be problem if i need to leave my car at an airport or something for a long time.
many thanks in advance for any help
p.s. car is a 1998 a6 2.4 uk, not sure if this makes much difference
