The red bottle stuff is the questionable "blue light special"...your paint
finish is too fine for that low end stuff with marginal shine.
I had a full red bottle kit that I used on our daughter's Jetta a few times and was simply not pleased with the quality and endurance of the shine compared to yellow label, Medallion or Gold Class.
The only red bottle product that I have used since has been the paint cleaner....which seems to be acceptable in a pinch.
