Knocks in my front end, even over the smallest cracks
Has anybody had "thumps" in there front left corner? I think its my strut, but do I have to replace the whole thing or is there just a piece of rubber broken?

2nd the sway bar end links . . similar situation on my 98 2.8q
I had the local dealer take a look at the front end recently. Control arms all checked out as did the struts. They changed the tie-rods under a recall but the noise persisted. Finally they isolated it to the sway bar end links.
I have them on order right now (I'll do it myself, dealer wanted $350 to do it, parts are only about $60), we shall see if they are right.
Based on my situation (whether it gets rid of the clunk on mine or not) I suggest you at least check the sway bar ends and bushings.
