I just contacted Anchor Audi in Lynbrook, NY ...and they feel that they had to be Avants.
The first thing is none of the sales personell have been trained in the allroad yet. My car is "in production status" of a 9/10/00 list, which usually means an additional 6 to 8 weeks until delivery in the NY/ Metro area. I'm now told mine has a shot at being here in late Oct.

I was told that the first cars would arrive on an allocation basis and that orders would be honored next. In other words Audi was going to send the first couple of cars to the dealers before they would deliver on the orders.

not always know what the manufacture is going to do. Therefore, whenever your told something by the dealer don't put it in stone since things can and do change.

I know that does not sound logical however, as the manufactures often state in their printed materials, prices and options and availability are subject to change.

Hopefully this info will help. Maybe all of you who ordered will get your car sooner.

By the way the 3 All Roads are all the Darker Silver and two of them are available as of 4pm PDT.

Ask for Michelle in sales or Bernie, the sales Manager. Tell them Rick (A6 4.2, Black / Van. Onx.) said ask for them. I'm sure they'll give you the most competitive deal.

There will be a lot of allroads roaming around SoCal (probably coming out of the San Diego harbor) in the next few weeks. I think they probably need about 30-40 of them for that event in Vegas.<p><img src="http://www.seansa4page.com/images/miscpics/steveshsig1.gif" border="0">
