looking for a diffinitive answer on 2.8 Avant brake rotor size...
According to the model guide, the A6 2.8 should have 288mm rotors. My A4 has 288mm rotors, which according to the model guide, it should have 276mm brake rotors.
now, my parts guy says that I should need 288mm rotors for my A6, but they measure out to 312mm. Either I am measuring wrong, or my car has 312mm brakes. Is this what it should have, or did someone put the A8 sized rotors and TT carriers on my car before I got it (unlikely).
Any help greatly appreciated.

Cool, thanks. Yeah, I've noticed the lack of info...
it never really mattered to me, till I discovered that the 312mm rotors are MUCH more expensive than the 288s...
