no, sell the car and get the 2.7t, or get a super charger, unless someone gives you EVERY SINGLE PART from a wrecked 2.7L car it will not be worth it.

also if you have to ask, you dont have the skill to do it. could you put a jet engine in your car? yes. do you have the engineering ability to do it? no.

yes. I suggest the trunk.

OK, seriously - its complicated, will require a new ECU or at least mapping, and in the end gives you a vastly less complete and stout motor. Have you seen what Audi did to make the 2.7? Its really a thing of beauty. Forged crank, strong rods, under-piston spray. Water cooled turbo with after-run pump. More oil flow. Bigger sump capacity. Yada, yada.

Not to mention all the other parts int he tranny, driveline, suspension, etc.

Sell 2.8. Buy 2.7. Enjoy.

Hay hay lets not get out of pocket. we all no it can be dun but i guess what i should have asked is how hard is it and what materials will i nead.

Just because some one ask does not say that they can not do it. It is just better if some one has a simpple way of doing it. Or they may have taken the steps and know a easy way.

worked on cars from 7 to know aviation machanic for U.S.M.C., biomedical enginear for 5 yrs and a telecomunications engineer for 7.

we all know all you nead is air fuel and spark to get it going. but in this case i could use a ecm external or a new program ecu. But some one may have map out the air to fuel ratio already so i dont have to test run.

Dont be smart becouse if we all new every thing we would not be on this forum.

So if you have nothing positive to add to this convo, sit in the corner before we have to spank the kids.
