I am not familiar with the differences of the two exhaust set-up but I am sure they are a little different.

In any case, can it be done? and has anyone tried it?

I'd be very surprised if they fit. I'd ask the guys on the B5 S4 forum. They might know.

Default I don't think it will work...
When I went to LaBree to have their split DPs installed, we figured out that the pipes designed for the S4 and Allroad would not fit my car. Had to use my stockers as a prototype to build a set for the A6.

Mine is also a 03 6MT.

Default Will not work without some modest modification. The S4 DP's are different length
where as the A6's are almost equal length.
