My first AOA service experience
16K mile service (bought car used) - first time in for service. short list of stuff to check, plus engine fan making terrible noise. today is one week later, still driving loaner mazda and car isn't ready. first incorrectly diagnosed, then part didn't arrive, etc, etc. i can't imagine how long it would take if i had something seriously wrong with the car!
please, someone tell me this is atypical......

Don't generalize from this ...
there are good service depts. and bad service depts. And even the good ones have bad techs or good techs who have bad days.
Give them one more chance, then move on if not happy.

My parts are in and I called to make my appointment at UA and they have yet to call back...
I had to leave a message on the answering machine in the Audi shop... Time to find a better shop..
