My S6 Got Slammed!

My S6 Got Slammed!
Well, lowered anyway Went to dealer to approve of lowering height, and I have to say, at this initial stage, (haven't driven it yet), I LOVE IT! Approx 1 3/4 in lower than stock. It fills up the wheel wells much more now. Would'a taken a pic, but car was Filthy! Probably gonna keep 17's on now, for ride comfort. Should have exhaust on Mon, (fingers crossed), and will post a few pics along with a couple of driving impressions. Would like to do a sound file too, but will need help with posting that. Chickened out on chip. Like my 14 yr old said; "Jees dad, you already have a fast car,(996tt), why do you want to make this one faster? It's pretty fast already." Good point. That kid is wise beyond his yrs. Don't know where he got it from, maybe from his grandpa :< There's a lot to be said for keeping the warranty intact :<

Re: My S6 Got Slammed!
My S6 (2000) has a huge drop in power at ca. 5000 rpm. At ca. 5300 it picks up again to peak at 347 PS. Is this where the cams adjust? What can be done about it?
Torque is at 401 NM only (3650 rpm).

Re: No pics possible on Sat. Will post some Mon if posssible
Was surprised that the shock has a continuous thread for adjustment, as I thought it had several preset positions to go to. He originally made it TOO low, [if you can believe that], and brought it back up some before I got there. It's plenty low now, just right for a "snow plower" like myself :<
