I pulled the 605 relay last night. At first, i did not like it at all, however, after one day of driving, there is no way that i could go back.
My wife drives the car about once per month. If she can't deal, i will install switch mod.
IMHO, if you have been contemplating the removal of 605 relay, do it, try it for a day or two. If you don't like, put it back. no big deal. If your like me, it will stay out.

605 (and 314) are "smart" relays that tell the power steering to add boost
The relays are supposed to be speed sensative. Most people think that they do thier jobs too well. I removed mine, and after about a week, I will never put it back.
It makes the steering of the the car go from feeling like a Lincoln to feeling like like a performance car

No other side effects. there is only one relay, but it has 2 possible #'s on it
You still have power steering, just less "assisted". If you don't like it, just shove the relay back in
