Need some advise on whether or not I should buy the APR BiPipe
O.K., today is the last day for the sale on the APR BiPipe now $279 (normally $349) which I think is a good deal but I keep questioning whether or not I should get it. My car is not chipped at the moment but I made a promise to myself to try and replace as much of the weak links on the 2.7T engines prior to chipping. I know for a fact that I will be replacing the stock TBB with someting stronger but I can't decide whether to get a stronger yet cheaper (in cost) TBB made by AMS/Samco or whether to spend the money on the BiPipe. Ahhhhhhhhhh, I need input. BTW, my vehicle is an 01 A6. Searching through the AudiWorld archives only compounded my fustration with the decision.

Do it. The Samco has QC issues, the AMS is known to pull off of the throttle body..
IMO, the APR is the only fool-proof solution. Audi seems to think so as well - look at what they use on the RS4
