Loving this forum!
My beloved 87 4000CS has 312,000 miles and still runs great.
But I figured 13 years (I bought it used in 1990) was long enough.
Man, the 4 rings have come a loooong way haven't they...

Welcome! These are great cars to keep for a long time for two reasons.
One is that they hold up well, and can be fun for many years.
Second is that short term resale values suck, so to get the most out of the car, you'd better keep it until resale value does not matter anymore.
I'm impressed by 300K miles on your old 4000. That is amazing.
