Hi all I want to thank all of you for your great advice. I am new to this board and I have already received great info. I changed my spark plugs today and it was easy. I want to thank the guy who invented the hanger tool to close the clip on the air filter box in the back. I also want to thank the guy who told about the oil in the plug hole that lets you know you need the valve cover gasket replaced. I found the back right side had some oil in there so now I need to report this to the dealer. Do you guys think they will repair this under the CPO warranty?

Default FYI use the subject line to start your reply, makes it easier for everyone to read...

CPO 16k sounds like a fairly decent deal to me.

Default they should repair it because the car is to be 100% upon delivery..

but dealers seldom do the required inspection.

Default Yes, they will. But let me give you some advice.

The CPO warranty has that $50 deductable, for every VISIT. I found if you take it in every time there is a problem, those $50 copays mount up. Better to wait until you have a few issues, then take it in for them all. The great thing about an A6, you won't have long to wait.

Default Ditto, I bought my car CPO with35k miles and had to take it to the dealer several times...

in the first few months of ownership. It was all covered under original warranty, but was a hassle. At least for my car, the "300 point inspection" was bogus.
