Default Newbie

Just wanted to say hello to everyone. I am the proud owner of a brand spankin new (to me) 2001 Ming Blue A6 2.7T. I have owned the car since May of this year and it came with 45,500 miles. It is now just over 50k miles on it. I got a carfax on it before I got it and I just recently purchased an 60mo/60k mile extended warranty. I would like to lower it sllightly, add a phatbox, RS6 style spoiler & front fascia along with the rear window difuser, chip & exhaust, and some 18" or 19" BBS style wheels and a HID upgrade. My LLTEK catalog has been abused over the last few weeks. It is like my wish book. Anyway, there are a few things that I need to fix. One of my foglights are blown and I need to replace one of the headlight washer covers on the front bumper.

Does anyone know where I can get one of those washer covers on the front bumper? Is this strickly a dealer item? I have since lost the one on the passenger side. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Yep dealer only on those. Also, stay away from LLTek bodywork - fiberglass is not durable.

Default [Note: this guy would be eaten alive on the B5 S4 board] Don't chip if you want to use your warranty

Check your coverage, but practically all warranties will be voided by any engine "work" including, yes, exhaust systems. Oh, and consider tossing that LLTEK catalog.

My bad. I hadn't considered the warranty. Can the dealer detect if it has be chipped or reprogrammed? Thanks for the heads up on the LLtek. What are the problems you guys (and gals) are having with them? Thanks in advance for all the help.

Default Yes, the dealer can detect if you've even just thought about chipping.

For more info, you might want to use the search feature of this site, including the B5 S4 forum for info on the 2.7T. Just don't post anything over there.

Default The RS 6 rear spolier will fit....but all of the other parts are made for a wide-body vehicle......

which the 2.7T is not...so fitment will be an issue...RS 6 parts WILL fit on a 4.2 though....good luck and enjoy the new ride!
