Newbie question on chipping 2004 A6 2.7t s-line
My lease ends early next year and need to decide on turn-in versus going after new S5. Love the turbo performance but would like a little boost--not the big jump many chip options represent--if I decide to keep the car. Can you chip and, say, see a boost from the 265HP/torque levels to say 300HP/300lbs torque area? I want some performance increase but don't want to get in danger zone with transmission, turbos, etc. based on a big boost. Make any sense?

A basic 2.7t chip can easily surpass 300hp. I believe that there are some more softly tuned chips...
which will keep the torque levels in the safe range for the tiptronic transmission.
