I think you may be able to turn the pump on with vag com , then do your checks,..
Bringing Audi to Life for Audi Fans
Surprisingly, the pump kicked in couple of times this morning, but after 2-3 times it didn't.
Another test I did was that I removed the relay, and completed the circuit with a piece of wire, and the pump started. Then I checked the voltage on the two pins where the relay sits on, and before starting the car, the voltage reading was 3.41, and after starting the car, the voltage reading was 9.98-10.05...
Now the question is, what is the proper voltage that should be coming through the relay harness/connector (where the relay sits on)...???
Also the voltage doesn't drop...I thought the voltage should drop after the first 10 seconds, discharging the relay and breaking the circuit. Is that how this relay supposed to work???
If anyone has a multimeter, can you please check the voltage coming out of the SAI relay connecter??? before and after starting the car...thanks...
