Default NOT Wheel Bearings

Go figure, they put the caron the lift, ran it, and listen to the bearings with a stethoscope. No noise. No play or slop either.

They attribute to wheel noise. Service Manager said, S4's are loud too, all from the tires.

After rotating F to B , the noise is much less, could it be one of the tires??? Now it is in the back of the car and less noticeable?? Weird?

Default It could be tires. What are you running? My Michelin Pilot Sport A/S are noisy....

It seems these tires have a tendency to cup which makes them noisy. Rotating mine helped.
