Default That stuff is toxic
Clean off ASAP, it'll damage the clearcoat. But as Larry at carcareonline.com (or is it Griot's?) points out, birds eat sand to help their digestion so their crap will scratch. Clean it carefully!

Except that it contains minerals which might leave nasty water spots. But I suppose it's better than bird **** spots!

Default Someone else actually reccomended it to me. I used it once with no ill effects. Although my car was
pretty dirty so it was hard for me to tell. I guess you could just carry a super soaker with some distilled water in it. Come'on finman, send us a picture of you shooting crap off your car with a squirt gun : )

Default Maybe more roof real estate on the Avant than sedan.
My Avant seems to have the same magnetism to bird bombs even though it's Pearl White. *sigh*

Inflatable or plastic owl. Attach it to rails when you park. Scares away most birds except Crows.
