Ok, I've searched, but found conflicting answers re. PSK springs
I was dead set on going with coilovers, however, for multiple reasons, I'd rather save the $$$. So I'm left with question about my remaining options.
Do PSK springs fit on a '00 non-sport 2.7 without altering the perch?
What shocks to go with Bilstein "HD" or "sport"?
Where to get new PSK springs? (if other than dealer, ie. clair)
I know these sort of questions have been asked in the past, but searching showed more guesses rather than answers based of proof.
Thanks, Adam

Hmmm....
I can't say absolutely for sure, but I would bet that the springs are a direct replace. Haven't heard that come up before, and that would make replacements that much tougher. Remember that Eibach springs are available directly from Audi (although they're not the same as the PSKs) with no mention of needing new struts or perches.
You obviously know to swap out the struts while you're at it. I intend on going to the Bilstein Sports when it's my time. I have the PSKs and I like both the height and firmness. I learned my lesson on prior cars about super hard and low. But a bit more tightness would be good. The HDs are supposed to be OEM replacements, but no word on whether that's "regular" or PSK. I figure the Sports, if they are a bit tighter, would still be a good match for the PSK rate.
Why new on the PSK springs? IMHO, if you're willing to buy new, it's not much of a jump to quality aftermarket if at all. The beauty of OEM/PSK is that they're available used from others that have gone aftermarket, for short cash. And springs aren't really a wear item.

Price too high - I bought sport springs from Clair for less.-$378
make sure springs were for car with same weight, front and rear. Clair required VIN so they could proper weight class, front and rear.
BTW. They did not lower the car. Waiting for suspension to settle-maybe 1/4"
