great car.

I'm still about 1 year away from the next car, but I'm one who likes to think about buying cars as much as doing it so I've been planning my next move for a while.

Toyed with the idea of getting a B6 Ultrasport and Stage 3'ing it but then it occured to me that there is a great car that'll do 14.0 out of the box: B6/B7 S4.

Have been driving B7 S4's and I gotta say, that car is automotive crack. Nonetheless, when I remember to drive my C5 like I'm on a test drive, it's 90% of the way there to me. I just love the way this car handles and pulls.

the B6 because you could get them cheaper (and on a personal note, I like the body style better). It reminds me of a more compact C5 A6. Right now, you could find a B6 S4 for about $35K range, depending on yr. and mileage. In another yr. or so, it'll be even cheaper.

Wish you luck! BTW, what are you gonna do w/ your '00 2.7T?? Sell it or keep it?

I agree with the B6 plan. Trying to wait until they're under $30. I emphasize the word trying. : )
