Default One more crap story and I promise I'll stop...

Ok...after that previous post...I washed the whole car, dried it with my "Absorber"...perfect...took a couple quick pics and headed off to the dealer to let my salesguy "deliver" the car to me and get the contract clarified with the Audi Loyalty Discount thing...
About 30 minutes after arriving, Alberto and I go out to check out the car and take a drive...and sonofabitch there are 2 more bird****s on the car! I can't believe it. We go for a drive and we stand around talking a bit and I notice there are 2-3 more ****s on the car! Unfuggin' believable!!! I haven't seen or heard a single goddamn bird in the last 48 hours, but there have been ~20 dumps plopped on this car!!!

I'm gonna try to stop talking about bird****...but this is amazing and goddamn annoying!!!

Default Around here, the birds eat enough berries that we get blue, purple, and even red droppings.

At least the birds have been too busy with that to start pecking out Finman's tires.

Default I'm listening.....

I'm trying to get AoA to allow me to get a Polar White/Atlas Gray/Brilliant Black swirl paint job. This way mud, dirt, birds, who cares? I'm being told that unless it's an A6 color in Europe, I can't get it!

In Illinois, birds crap rust.

My red Z always gets more bird content when clean, even when parked next to the (black) A6.

Default I guess we are lucky, brown, green and blue are it up here. My brother in law has an "orphan" black

580SL?...Poor thing, over the holiday break we tried some of the swirl remover and wax I gave him for Christmas. Some bird droppings had etched the clearcoat and clouded it up. The clouding was "whitish" in color.

Birds that crap rust....that just scares me. ;-)

The exterior environment is one thing where you have a loss of control. Rocks on the roads, birds, crazy door bangers, mad people with keys, punks with cans of spray paint, etc...

Colors are pretty too look at but they hard to take care of and hard to get fixed correctly. A swirl job like you talk about would be the best. ;-) I have a room with reddish brown and gray swirls in the carpet. You spill almost anything and it just disappears. ;-)
