Default Been running RE950's in summer for 3 years. Absolutely love em......

....They're a bit noisy once they're broken-in. But, they stick like velcro, and perform very well in the rain.

Good luck with them!

Default I was looking at Contis, Michelin, & Pirelli

Didn't want to spend big bucks on tires.....my local tire pirate wanted 65 more per tire + tax on top. I'm looking forward to giving them a try--thanks for your input!

I'm having the dealer check the alignment again...I need to hold the wheel a few points starboard to go straight.

Default My local Bridgestone dealer was very competitive vs. TR. Don't forget Road Hazard..(more)

Had 2 tires replaced at different times for no charge....no questions asked.

Default Good point

doesn't hurt to have a good relationship with a local tire company. They're more willing to do free patches and/or move you to the head of the line.

Also make sure you get an all-in price, mounting balancing stems etc. If you want/need road force or Hunter, make sure to check into that. I always thought it was odd that tire shops would do business with Tire Rack and allow them to ship tires to them for mounting.

Default I checked a few local places...

and were much higher then TR. I know it's good to have a local in case of problems. I checked a tire shop that my family has used for 30 yrs., and they changed ownership--everything went up. I'll use them in an emergency.

Tried a few others, and these places you wouldn't want touching your car. I'll pay more for the dealer (they use a Hunter) to mount, but they do a perfect job and don't scratch the heck out of the wheels.
