Default is that NT or 2k? I'm thinking of upgrading to one of them graphic multitaskers in a couple years.

OpenVME has always worked great, though I hope my 33MHz Moto68k can handle the pictures.

Default I don't remember if you did or not....

but I do recall you telling me who you bought yours from. Proxus seems to be the only seller that mentions or advertises VIM without using the Dietz. I don't if the other sellers offer the same.

Default I thought you still needed the Dietz (how else to get composite video into RNS?)...

The flash was to eliminate the need for cutting the speed signal tricking the RNS and handicapping the NAV.

Default I don't know how it's done but....

according to Proxus, he can do it without a dietz. Unless I'm understanding it wrong, it's happend before.

Default VIM coding it's a replacement for Dietz 1280, but you'll still need a multimedia interface

Either Dietz 1417 or an other multimedia interface with Audi and video inputs
