OT: Does MB charge extra for paint?
Played around a little with the configurator at the MB site. Seemed as if paint was an extra cost option. Price was always $1K-$3K more than base choosing any color.

While you're talking about 'cheap' M-B...
I was blown away by the fact that in the '01 C-Class ("The New C") the only CD player available was a changer, and was a $600 option.
