Paging anyone with electrical/lighting knowledge, or those who have done a xenon retrofit...
...to confirm or deny a few suppositions of mine: My Apexcone HID kit finally came in the mail, and i'm thinking my way through the install since the instructions that came with the kit are vague, general, and ambiguous, and i know little to nothing about electrical systems. Here's a picture of the kit, positioned as I would think it has to be hooked up.
#1 is the power plug to the ballast, which you can see is the other end of #3. #2 appears to be the connection between the ballast and the bulb. The reason i starred 3 is because the wires with the simple male connectors are threaded through the rubber grommet, sealing the bulb in the housing, which makes no sense. Aren't those male connectors the ones that need to go to the OE wiring harness, providing power to the ballast? If so, they would need to be pulled from the grommet in order to be connected, right?

#2
its just plug and play #3 goes into the existing h1 females on the a6 housing you just have to drill
open a hole behind the cover to fit the wiring through. then just find a place you want to secure the ballast at.
