paging mpw: how exactly did you clean the contacts on the turn signal relay?
i found the culprit of my dead blinkers and id like to clean the contacts for now so i dont have to drive around with no blinkers. TIA

As I said before, it only lasted a couple of months. It did delay the trip to the dealer, though.<ul><li><a href="https://forums.audiworld.com/allroad/msgs/91515.phtml">click</a></li></ul>

OK - so I'll reply to your (new) post now
I've done the job twice now. First one lasted about 6 months but I didn't do it as well as I did second time.
I folded a piece of wet/dry (sand)paper in half and (optional) ran a little bit of white glue in the middle. Then I cut it parallel to the fold so it was about 1/8 inch wide and about 2 inches long - effectively a small narrow and flexible file.
Then I slid this up and down between the contact faces while pressing the relay lightly closed. Just basically sanding the contacts.
Do NOT use WD40, that will make it worse! If you have Stabilant or other contact cleaner, that might be good though.
