Phatbox install - Ultimate failure

ditto...what he said. These are the parts you need. It's an install "failure"...not a...
functionality failure. You have yet you install the pbox or configure it.
Good luck!

PS: I wish I could've helped you prevent this scenario. I feel bad for not briefing you on how to install these pins.

Just buy a new 20 pin connector and re insert the wires
It is almost impossible to figure out which side is right side up or upside down the first time.....I've done that before also.

Bollocks!! I forgot to warn you about ham-fisted installers!! :P
As tremor mentioned, you should be able to find those crimp ends...somewhere(?). Worse case scenario is resplicing a new connector into your harness, but lets hope thats not necessary.
Good luck, don't let it deter you from future work...just take your time and don't get antsy, pretend you're doing surgery on a pet or child. :P

That's a lot of pins/wires to relocate. His 20 pin connector has 8 open slots...
...I assume he knows where each pin goes (i.e. location #13-20). I hope the cable came with those specifics. If not...then that makes the process a lot harder.

You know how it goes - knew that, didn't have the tools, and figured: "I can make it work"
Famous last words.
It's the story of my life. Trying to make due with the improper tools, then spending like 10 times the amount of time on the same job fixing the problems caused by using them. Oh well, makes for stories on occassion, I guess.
I actually read that post, Teddy, about the pin removal tools. I was thinking about them and how I wished I had some as I picked up the pair of wire cutters and literally broke the plug apart (since I had a replacement) socket by socket. 3 hours later, I had blistered fingers, jacked wires, missing pins, and a busted set of glasses.
Oh well, my eyes were already blurry from the tears or frustration, so the glasses weren't really necessary anyhow! FUN!!!
Thanks you guys....
