Default that was about as painless as it gets, slightly different though...

from others that I have read. The back of the lamp housing had a cap which only needed to be turned to access the bulb area. No additional screws at the back of the housing.

1st one took about 10 minutes while I gently tried to remove the grill - until I get fed up, and found the ***** to use a bit more force.

Left side took under 5 minutes. Grill popped off, 2 screws, unit comes out, twist cap, push wire clamps off which hold bulb down (down and to the sides), remove bulb, replace blub, twist cap back on, 2 screws, grill pops back in place, done.

Just a bit longer then it took me to write this post with my chicken pecking typing. (j/k)

Sounds identical to mine. Isn't that the same on most years/models?

Default Dunno, I read some posts that mentioned additional screw on the back...

of the housing which need to removed to access the bulb. And the back cover was not a cap in those pics, but a cover with a rubber gasket for sealing.

Different year I guess.

We have the same year and car though, same color to boot.

I mentioned unscrewing the back, by which I meant the cap, not screws, FWIW.
