Poll: What is the fastest you have been in your A6 and any other car?
A6 - 140 mph
911 Turbo - 160 mph - I was a passenger
Both were fast and not looking to try again soon!

Cruised at 132 or so for a *long* time.
Wish I had had a chip to explore what the car was actually capable of, but who knows...I might still be in jail!

With 700cc of engine I was able to pull 138 (albeit on a downhill run!) on my motorcycle some long years ago. I was over 100mph for 30 days straight on the bike one month...no big achievement as it could get to 100 in such a short space.
That's about it...120+ a number of times in the most of the cars that I've owned that would pull it, but la-dee-da, also no big deal...I'm quite happy to be alive tonight.

The speed stated above was on the front straight, also saw 104 MPH apexing turn 4, probably could have gone faster if I wasn't busy looking down a speedometer(dumb thing to do)leaned over..yes leaned over..anyone familiar with turn 4 at summit knows that its a damn fast turn..
we all know that above 100-120 MPH the speedometers are not totally accurate but I think it wouldnt be off more than 5-7 MPH at that speed....
The bike was a 1998 yamaha R1, bone stock..at Summit point, WV...motorcyle track day..
