poor idle !!!!!

hi all just need some help ! i drove my a6 qattro 1998 trip tronic into town no problem but as i pulled up at a junction it cut out ! since then its reluctant to tick over when in drive . ive seen a posting on cleaning the icv but mine doesnt seem to have one? or if it has its different to the one in the picture any help would be greatfully recieved!!!! just a not my battery went flat 2 days before didnt no if throttle may need re callibrating??? thanks kev...

Mine started like that then MISFIRE.
Check your coils.

Do a throttle body calibration and see if the situation improves.

I cleaned the throttle body & MAF, and that improved idle.

Different techniques were flowing around on how to do the calibration, and none worked for me.

VAG-com showed my throttle plate as 0.9 degree when gas pedal is not pressed. Is that within range ?

oh , and the free vag-com version does not let user trigger the calibration.
