I hung around Shine Racing Service this morning while they installed the PSK bar. Let me tell you, going from no bar for a week+ to a PSK bar is a BIG difference! I tested it out ALL DAY. ;-)

I had bought new links since the original links were fairly trashed after the initial incorrect installation. The new links are plastic, compared to the metal links that came with the car. We couldn't figure out if the metal links were superceded by the plastic/resin links, or if they are specific to the PSK. We compared the links with an A6 4.2 (installing H-sports) that was up on a lift and they were plastic, as well. The metal links were already showing signs of rust, so the plastic links can be considered maintenance up front. $68 from Clair Parts, btw.
