I've had several creepers, have use3d cardboard for the last 15 years, works great

replacements are cheap

hehe, I have the equivalent of a car port...luckily my work has 2 lifts and an alignment rack

I should take a picture sometime, I was going to do it while I was putting my sway bars on, but didn't have it in me at the time.

I use carpet, well when I don't go down to my old shop and use one of the 5 lifts.

I have one of the Griot's creepers that has an adjustable headrest, works well.
