No full-size spare...and people are going the other way on weight by ADDING tape over 65% of body!

Default Yikes... I guess I'm going to have to do my own R&D on lightening my future pig... Thanks :)

Ideally, I'd like to get it under 3900. The spare might shave 50 or so, but I'll have to "weight " and see whether the stock exhaust will be as heavy as my S4's was.

Naaah...I don't need any "tape". My pig will have only fruit as adornment...

All yours, but you better grab it before the AW gestapo censor it. Rock on.

Default At least the S6 has some sort of spare..... the M5 has none!

No spare, no run-flats. BMW gives you goop and a compressor. No jack nor lug-wrench even! There is no space-saver with correct dia or hub-centric that fits. I had to buy a front wheel and tire for $$$$. (The fronts are 245-40/18 and the rears are 275-35/18) And it takes up mucho space in the trunk. BUT the caveat is an M5 is worth the effort!
