Default Quattro Club? Worth to join?

Is it worth to join the club for like $40 for a year? They sent me a little paper.

Default They sent me an invitation also. However, the dorks can't

figure out that I have been a member for 6 months. I don't think much of it so far. Magazine is ok, but when I followed their instructions to try to get a phone hook-up wiring diagram, the columnist never responded. Magazine articles are mostly fluff. Other benefits (driving school) perhaps worthwhile if you take advantage of them.

Yes, if you take advantage of the driving schools.

Default The driving schools are definately worth it. You don't have to be a member to sign up for them, but

they'll hit you for the membership if you arn't! Also a good place to meet your fellow Audi drivers, but there usually are lots of other opportunities for that. The magazine does give a list of member discounts that may help someday.

QCUSA membership automatically makes you a member of your local regional quattro club...at least it does in ours (Pacific Northwest), where we also have driving schools, autocrosses, "lapping" days, tours, picnics, dealer support, pizza and go-carts nites, etc. We also (weather permitting) put on a winter driving school based on Audi's Seefield school.

Not bad for $40, eh?

Same experience. I've been a member for three years and they are soliciting me too!

Default Same complaint...National QCUSA is VERY slow to get new member info to our regional club so we

can include them in our activities and mailings. We have a regional member on the national board, so we hope we have their "ear" on doing better in this area.
